Keith Evans RIP

Post by Social Media »

It is with sadness that we must advise the passing of another Imp Club legend, Keith Evans. Keith was a well known member and our sincere condolences go to his family at this time.

The following is a message from son, James:

It's with great sadness I inform you that my dad Keith Evans passed away peacefully but unexpected at home on Saturday 9th December.

His funeral will be held at Cheltenham Crematorium on Friday 12th January 2024 in the Oak Chapel at Noon.

His love for the Hillman Imp and classic cars is always with him. So if anyone would like to bring their car and follow the hearse he would absolutely love that.

If anyone has any photos of dad we'd love to have them to display at the funeral. Please pop photos and confirmation of bringing your car in the comments below.

All our thanks from the family.

Sad news indeed. 2023 has seen so many 'names' in the Imp World pass away. Rosemary, obviously, but also many members who have been in the club since its early days.

I would very much like to include an Obituary for Keith Evans in February's Impressions. Keith was a long-time club member and was well known and liked by many members. Would need by 8th January latest. Thanks.

Re Keith Evans RIP, message from, son, James. If you are attending, please comment here and we will pass on to James.

The funeral is being held on Friday 12th January at Cheltenham Crematorium (GL52 5JT) in the Oak Chapel at 12 o'clock noon.

Please do join us afterwards at Hatherley & Reddings Cricket Club (GL51 4XA). For some food & drinks and to share your memories.

If your able to attend please let me know in the comments & if you'll be bringing your Imp/Classic Car. This is just so we can let the caterers know a head count and organise the cars behind the hearse.

Many thanks from all the family
