A couple of years ago I had the change to buy above mentioned Hillmann IMP .
The owner was Danish but the car was in Belgium. First registered in Lancashire UK in March 1971.
One of the previous owners converted the car by removing the roof. It is now a " convertible".
The bodyshell did not well survived the transformation. (see pictures)
Is there some one who know the person who converted the car and know some history.
This info could help me to try to strengthening this new project.
Thanks in advance for the reaction(s)
Alex

Hi Alex. Sorry for the delayed response.
Your car looks good: no obvious signs of serious corrosion and generally in decent condition.
You say you would like to strengthen the shell, which was clearly weakened somewhat by the removal of the roof. It sounds to me as though what you need is advice from those expert in Imp body restoration. Is that correct?
