Made the repair section for the bottom of the A pillar then went home where it was warmish

Brilliant idea, Peter. Can't think why nobody thought of it before....It's a good idea to write comments notes sketches numbers etc on the hidden internals of your bodyshell that only you know are there, then if your cars stolen you can check if one is found whether its yours with a new identity by cutting it open to prove it
As an alternative, there is a company (maybe more than one) that can supply unique microdots that can be stuck onto engine components etc, and tiny microchips that can be injected into seats/doorcards/carpeting/rooflinings, again with unique codes that can be read by the feds !
