The move away from the original Champion N9Y spark plug to the Champion N9YC version happened many years back.
I see that the Imp Club Spares department still offers the Champion N9Y option, can anyone advise the benefit to either grade of spark plug?

The "C" I believe stands for "copper" as in the plug introduced a copper core for electrical and thermal purposes. Nothing spectacular then.

Thanks, I am using the N9YC as I broke one of the set of four N9YC, otherwise I am using normal Champion and Smiths products in my cars ignition system still.Uncle Henry wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 11:36 am The "C" I believe stands for "copper" as in the plug introduced a copper core for electrical and thermal purposes.
