Thing is, classic, has nothing to do with how reliable something is, that chap is a classic example of an owner who never does any weekly checks on their vehicle probably. Then quotes the classic faults classically.

I'm getting the feeling that that letter is a recycled one. Either that, or I'm psychic. Perhaps someone should despatch a letter to the Times to highlight their error.

And, if true, I guess his mini didn't rust, didn't fail in wet weather, or leak, and didn't attempt to rattle his fillings out, or cut his head open if he ever checked under the bonnet.?
