BEWARE! Add 2/10ths mile to Sat nav else you'll go to wrong campsite. That is if approaching from the Abergavenny side.Gill

We’ll be putting up some signposts before WWW officially starts on Friday. However, for those arriving early, please remember that there are two campsites at Llangorse. We are using Llangorse Lakeside campsite NOT Llynfi campsite.

If you are using Sat Nav - I suggest that you enter N 51.937944 & W 3.268547 as your destination – that should put you right in front of the Lakeside reception building.

If you don’t use Sat Nav – after you come over the cattle grid at the entrance to Llangorse common take the left hand fork in the road. Lakeside reception is about 300 yards further on.

No, I didn't, Roy, knew the name.
Just that it said "you have reached your destination" exactly at the entrance to the other one!

John Keane, Garry Mathews and I are sharing a static caravan at WWW.
It'll have a sofa bed that'll be unused, except on Saturday night when Dave the Van is joining us.
So if anybody has an accommodation crisis, we can put-up somebody Thursday, Friday and Sunday night.

Also, John and are are coming down on Thursday in convoy (does two count as a convoy?) We're meeting at the Midway Truck Stop, A49 at Prees Heath, at 1pm for lunch.
Anybody coming that way is welcome to join us.
Use SY13 3JT in your pratt naff to find it.

There's a great old car dealership just few yards North of there on the opposite side of the road. Used to have some old cars out front too. My cousins live just up the road in Grindly Brook.

All,
The (excellent) site cafe will be open until 20:00. The bar will be open until late and may be able to serve a few bar meals later on.
We plan to eat at the Red Lion in Llangorse village on Sunday evening.
Safe journey,
Roy

Just back from another fantastic WWW, very well done to all involved in organising such a great event, that even the weather couldn’t dampen. Perhaps dampen is the wrongword :D Also thanks due to the staff at the venue.
I am pleased to report that my car went well for all 653 miles covered, got back in 5 hours, including a short picnic lunch stop.

Probably the most weathery WWW I've experienced but what a great weekend. The new venue worked very well and the cafe and bar staff were great. Had a static this time which was very, very nice. Next time I should be in the motorhome.

I was really looking forward to visiting the falls at Devil's Bridge and I wasn't disappointed, but I was knackered! There's a lot of steps!

The walk to the pub last night was made more interesting by a stampede of the feral horses on sight. "Just stand still Leslie!" I think it was hearing Phil's accent coming up behind them that spooked them!

Journey home was uneventful apart from being overtaken by Roger in his Alfa twice, even though he left the site before me!

Hurry up with the dates for next year so I can book leave and a spot for the motorhome.
