Ah, Gulf - can see it now. Might need a splash of orange somewhere...
And the tech question; is that a 2" roll bar with the other tubes in 1 1/2"? I don't know the detail of the current regs past assuming there's also door bars.
Thanks

Re: New Project !
Looking very good, can I ask a couple of questions please
Examining your photo's it looks like you've run the clutch hydraulic pipe under the floor whereas the brakes are inside, why?
Do the regs state that fuel pipes can't be run inside the car ?

Re: New Project !
You can run all the pipes under the car if you want as far as I know the good thing with the imp is the tunnel as it keeps the pipes out of harms way ,1 of my reasons for putting the brakes inside is I can use the right had side of tunnel to run 2 throttle cables and on the otherside is the fuel and clutch pipes ,also having the brake pipe inside is a lot easier to spot a leak on your system
As for the cage yes its 50mm rear hoop and the rest is 45mm cage was made by fabricage

And thank you too Col. That's pleasantly beefy - presumably in excess of current Blue Book standard (which I don't know but am guessing 48/38 mm).colin rooney wrote:As for the cage yes its 50mm rear hoop and the rest is 45mm cage was made by fabricage
