Can any of the Somerset members recommend a company that can blast surface rust from new panels?

Mc Arthur Galvanising fishponds Bristol lasted my suspension arms and crossmembers etc before they galvanised them, maybe get your panels galvanised whilst they are at it , very reasonable costs ? Imp009 Clan005

No help whatsoever there. A chap called phil said they wont do blasting anymore and he refused to recommend anyone who does. Bring back the days when there was a bit of trust among firms.

Well thats a let down , I had a lot of bits galvanised earlier in the year there and they blasted them before galvanising of course . I hope that doesnt mean they wont do small parts anymore ... Imp009

I had a letter today saying that the wedge group have taken over the galvanising part of Mc Arthur and they would welcome my business again and will do anything from a 1.5 mm washer to a 29 metre beam ... when you asked i guess they were in the process of change over .

Maybe, though there was no mention of any change over to me. It was a blunt answer as above. Maybe they realised how much business they would lose. Or have lost in my case.

Kilty

Lesley got springs and wishbones blasted and powder coated at Castle Coatings in Caerphilly - pretty cheap and were quick - downside is having to cross the bridge twice and pay the toll to get into Wales, we let you out for free! So that adds £12 to the cost immediately.

Our window cleaner had alloys done there and was very happy. Aled told us about them too.
