Classic Touch Up Paints for IMP's

Post by classiccapsule »

Needed a touch-up for my Claret Metallic 1967 Stiletto and was going to get one locally, by trying to match a modern colour by eye. However before I did, thought I'd take a look on the net.

Found Autopaint, St Helens who advertise touch up's and mixed to order aerosols.

Asked if they could do 1960's colours. They said they could and I gave them the paint code. Didn't expect much as the car has been resprayed etc.

Paint came THE NEXT DAY, only spot on! Like it was mixed by eye stood next to it. Can't believe how close it is. Proper cellulose, 40mm and thick. Not like the "thin as milk" ones you buy from Halfords.

Best of all, £7.74 including the postage! They get my vote!
