This thread's bringing back memories of a past NW where, late one evening, we visited the Finnish enclave for beer and general nattering. They were showing a video of an ice race in which Simcas and Imps competed against each other. Bearing in mind the general bon vivor of the occasion and the Finns limited English there was a kind of running commentary:- Each time a car spun or made contact with a snow bank it was 'Simca' met with general sniggering, each time a car overtook another it was 'Imp'
Do me a deal? Employ me for 3 days and pay me for what I'm currently being paid for 5, then I'll have time to do everything!

I quite like the X1/9 ones. When I owned a Simca (not a 1000 mind) I discovered it used a Fiat stud pattern, so those X1/9 wheels should bolt straight on.
