Imp Club Spares item 7204194/5 -- 1/4 light vent seal saloon and coupe, new remade (pair) to order £80.00 plus £3.00 postage. These are specially made for The Imp Club in Australia, so prices may fluctuate with the exchange rate. I currently have a small number in stock - contact Bob Allan (details inside front cover of Impressions). We also have steering rack centre gaiters from the same source and 7" fluffy headlamp seals are on order together with other desireable rubber items (enquire for details).

Woohoo !! Got mine ready for the finishing off after repairs. They look fab (and far superior to the originals), and if they do the job as well as they look, then no more water ingress through the lights :D . baring jet washes of course :( . And very speedily despatched, may I add.

Yes, I've still got some in stock. Please e-mail me at "spares@theimpclub.co.uk" not via the forum please.

Once these are sold out there will not be any more!

Note I also have the 7" headlamp seals in stock too and other rubber seal items.

Good evening

Just a quick question if any1 has fitted the 1/4 light seals? Are they a decent enough fit or do they need fettling to provide a good seal

Many thanks

You will need a scalpel type blade to open up hinge hole. They fit very well. They are still available, but direct from Frank Schoenberger.

I've received a note from Bob at club spares to say that they currently have no stock. They are apparently going to be reordered at some stage in the future. In the light of this news I guess it would be prudent to seek them in the antipodes.

I just wish the quarter light seals were available for the non opening quarter lights as fitted to vans and basic imps. The seal is different.

Sorry my fault, I meant the wee metal bit that pokes through for the chrome handle to lock onto.

Frank is now considering producing coupe seals and is looking to see if there is suitable interest to have them made as a new mould will have to be made which is quite costly, so looking for a level.of interest, as he has not had any response to support to get them made, I have supplied a set of coupe frames to be able to manufacture a perfect fit

I've put my name on Franks' Facebook "order list". Hope he'll have enough pre-orders to start making them soon.
