Front Spring Seats

Postby petercg365 » Wed Apr 15, 2015 7:39 am

Does anybody have any front spring seats for sale or know if anybody sells patterns parts?

I am told that they are no longer available and if this is the case I am going to look into getting some made myself. If I do would there be any interest from anybody else, as the more I get made the lower the price might be?

Which part do you mean??
The H bracket that welds into the front arch?
The bolt in steel spring seat that fits into the H bracket?
Or the rubber top spring insulator ring?

Malcolm Anderson has the top two items on his stock list at £75 and £30 each.

For the insulator, try either the club, but you need to be a member for that, or ask Malcolm for advice on that too?

Otherwise known as the spring platform, held in place by 2 collets, Imp club spares have the collets, no mention of the platforms though, but you can get front shocks with welded platforms already on them instead, or upgrade to shocks with integral adjustable platforms?
