Well car now moves under its own power, had to change cylinder head this weekend as discovered the one fitted had a crack, still all done now.

Gear selection a bit stiff so need to check oil levels, rebled clutch and brakes ,so left with seats to fix, wire the master switch resistor in place, and finally fit the doors!

Anyone got an air filter for a 28/36 dcd weber?
Then just an MOT to arrange

Love the rear spoiler. :D

It just needs a high-level brake light or rain light to finish it off.

I wish, need a little more time on the Blue one, the Red one drove around the paddock at the weekend under its own power for the first time, however everything seems to work so if I can get mot sorted it won't need to be a static display :D

So are you doing a two-tone paint job (top and sill-line)?

No I'm going for single colour Ford Radiant Red all over although engine cover may end up black finally. I used gravitex on the low part after looking at various Clans and seeing the stone chips on the lower regions.

I think the two tone looks good on Irish Clans with the lower front light pods but prefer the older shape pods of a Crusader myself.

Clan004 as theres no two tone Clan :D

Love the jazzy checkerboard door cards! 8)

Back shelf treatment is interesting. Is there something functional beneath the area between the damper turrets ...or does it act as as additional stiffening?

And what have you used to trim the roof and A pillars? Mine need a retrim ...

I agree and I am unanimous in that, the Clan sill angle is perfectly designed for stone chips, not thought about by the designer, where practicalities go out of the window,
and the wide flat top sill ideal for soaking your trousers in the wet.

the rear panel hides the rad pipes, and I also wanted some reasonable storage space, its starting to looklike a car at long last, trouble now I'm getting fussy and redoing jobs!!!!
