Thanks for the positive replies :D
Its far from perfect but it is a "user" could do with a decent paint job at sometime

Had the spotlights for ages sitting on the shelf. when I wired the fuse boxes I thought it was a good chance to add a relay and fit them, so they do work and are not just ornaments   :D

Super cool! 8)

Did you see the 'Police Interceptors' episode where the guy with the air ride white Golf got nicked taking his MUM down the road with the suspension set on low?

The cops had waited for hours for him to get into the car and drive it on the low setting ...when stopped he hit the steering wheel button to raise the ride height but the copper saw him do it and found fresh white paint witness marks on the tyres/rims (off the wheel arch). :o

Hopefully you have at least a fag-paper's arch clearance on bump so no witness marks on rims and tyres.

Ha yes I did see that, but after years of running this car just mm off the floor its actually dead nice to be able to not flinch at bumps and stones in the road, so this is just its parked height

Bit like the old Citroen DS, you used to see them parked on the kerb, they went down and all the wheels came off the ground and you could rock it side to side 8)

So you could set an ideal ride height for track days then?

Sounds useful! :D

Thats exactly right, I have corner control as well so I can set corner weights and the management system has 8 saveable presets which means I can have daily, stance, track, original and a few fun ones like front down back up. Team that with the progressive spring rates because they are air bags mean really Im surprised no one beat me to it!

The Range Rover has air suspension, really nice magic carpet ride like the old Citroen DS, pain in bum when its playing up though.

Dare I ask if it was bespoke or a kit and how much?

Its a bespoke kit, and the cost, well its now really comfortable so who can put a price on that  I think its cheaper than having all the different length springs stored up at home.

Nice work, Rob. Cooler than a very low cucumber. 8)

So have the progressive air springs improved the handling and ride quality? :?: Is there any interconnection between front and rear spring units? :?: Does the car still run a separate mechanical damper unit at each corner or is that done by the air springs, like the BL/Rover Hydragas system? :?:
