another company are now making the sign with my photograph of Sammy

I got in touch with them to ask "Where did you get the photograph of the car to make the sign?"

Their response "I took the photograph myself"

We need a system where no one can take a picture of your vehicle without their camera going up in smoke, bit like they had when someone tried taking a photo of Thunderbirds. :D

Clearly not a believable pic though Charlotte, Sammy appears to have been stopped by a small snowdrift by the FOS wheel. As everyone knows, Imps are perfect for the snow!

I think the snow effectively chocks the wheel so as to remove the risk of the handbrake freezing on

Lovely car. Sammy's looking really good. 8)

You need to resize your images on Photobucket. Hover over 'edit' and I think one of the options is 'resize.' It is easy enough. 800 pixels by 600 pixels is one of the default options. Have a go anyway.

Right Ive treated Sammy to a set of these but rather than the drill on set they are the fix on set

Anyone else have a set of these? If so, where have you secured them to? I have seen one set on the quarter glass section.

Ideas? Imp009

Not seen any like that before, if you fix them to the quarter light though then you cant open it for your through flow ventilation in warm weather and of course you will be knocking the mirror out of alignment ?
Also if you fix it to the quarter light glass it could/might prevent the glass closing against the seal and cause water to get in?
Maybe it might be possible to fit it to the door window frame? but you would have to make sure it didnt affect the door opening and clearance door frame to gutter.
I think actually a screw on/drill fixing to the door skin like the last Imps had in this case might have been easier but you have them now so maybe someone else has used this type satisfactorily.

They just fit about an inch back from the pivot point of the quarter light. Just don't go mad with the tightening of the grub screws and the little plastic gasket. I never use the quarter lights, so not being able to use them is fine for me...

Sorry I haven't sent you a photo, I haven't been down the other garage as the weather took me by surprise yesterday...

Here's a photo isolated from a full shot. Not brilliant but you can make it out. If you get stuck, bring it over and I'll do them for you...
