Unfortunately all my classics are currently sick :(

Have fun, all of you. 8) My classic is still laid up awaiting a new front radiator assembly and quite a few other chores but I shall be keeping an eye out for classics - especially Imps. :)

I'll be driving around in the Passat I'm afraid, more retro than classic but it's a lot older than some so-called classics out there!

A group of us settled for something more modest - a gentle tour of the Chilterns after a rv in a pub car park outside Marlow, stopping off in a couple of country pubs en route for food and drink. There were 1 Sunbeam Sport, 3 Imps, I Husky and 1 Van when we set off, plus some other petrolheads who'd brought along a little Nash convertible (never seen one of those before) plus a NSU Prinz. One Imp left part way through to go to the AGM, The NSU driver got lost and the Nash broke down. However, a good time was had by all and we had no trouble with the Imps. Brilliant driving in convoy and seeing other peoples faces, didn't see to many other classics though, which is a shame.

Well, we would have done the ARCC event, but having had a gig last night getting up at 7am just wasn't happening.

We ended up meeting James and Jason for a drink over at the Blue Lias pub near Stockton, Warks - it was great to get Skye out of the lock up.

We were booked in for the ARCC thing but it was going to be to early a start and i have been feeling pretty rough this week so needed a lie in. So had a quick blast in the Nymph and then took the Chamois out and joined Tim and Vicky Morgan in Stockton. See above.

Tim did you see the guys in the yank tanks wave at us as we convoyed towards Daventry?

I will look in to organising an informal run for Drive it day next year.

Hi Jim,
Excellent idea, myself and Paul (red clan) were looking at doing the north-west run this year, but the weather and the 100miles to get to the start put us off. A midlands run would have been ideal

Cheers
