Where is it?
Problem is as a new Imp owner I can't drive my new car because I have been banned from driving through ill health! Had a brain tumour removed last tuesday! I'd love to come!

I am feeling fine at the moment! Have an interesting arc shaped cut where they peeled my scalp forward and I apparently have titanium plate and pins that I didn't have last monday! Quite fun really, I am young and I am taking it in my stride, my family have taken it harder than I have!

Thank you all for your kind words. I am full of praise for the NHS at the moment, within a week I had found out I had intra-cranial pressure on the wednesday and a brain tumour by the monday then it was out by the tuesday, unfortunately I had my birthday on the sunday so it was hardly a great present to myself! :(

All the best, as above, hope the recovery goes well!

Maybe you are close enough to the venue to just pop up there via a passenger seat for the day or something?
Cheers

Sounds like a benign one then. Local expansion being the main isssue. No local infiltration or spread to other sites. You'll be OK by the sounds of it.

Get driving soon!

The neuroscience unit at the Western General in Edinburgh are meant to be the best in Europe so I am in good hands as well as living under the same roof as 1 of the best GPs in the country.

I am already champing at the bit to get driving again and its only been 2 weeks since the original doctor advised me not to drive. Then the day after my operation the neurosurgeon told me not to race either! I was gutted! Can't drink either because of the medication, I don't drink much anyway, but it is the principal!

Us Aries are made of tough stuff! Looking at it a different way, possibly the best present you'll ever get! (having it removed I mean  ).

Take care :D

I am sorry for not making an appearence, parents have left me for their holiday, I am still house bound, the DVLA are about to take my licence off me and I went to the BGTs at Knockhill(a family friend was interested and took me) which is quite a bit closer than rural Perthshire. Sorry, I determined to get to an Imp meet some time even with my car!

I take it the DVLA thing is temporary?

A fantastic weekend again. Weather was great, runs went along some amazing roads (cheers for the lifts in the Saltire Jim). For those who have never been to Ecosse you have missed one of the best events in the Imp calender. Worth the drive in an Imp or in the modern. See you all next year

It was based at the Cruachan Campsite, about 5miles East of Killin.

Mind you, if you'd arrived when they were off on the road-run on Saturday, quite possible there was no sign of any Imps.....

Where are you in the Borders ? You should try get along to the Moffat / Rootes show 28/29 June....usually plenty Imps there, and erm.....other Rootes cars ! Entry limit always reached early, so be quick if you want to enter.
