Wheels Day 2008- 21st March

Postby skamanfrank » Sun Mar 09, 2008 5:51 pm

Hi all,
Those of you on Retro Rides will probably have seen this.

This is on the 21st March in Aldershot.
I'm sure it's a reachable distance for lots of impers so why not :) Apparently it fills up VERY early. Last year they had to stop letting people onto the show field at about 10 or 11

Official website is here: http://www.freewebs.com/wheelsday/

RR discussion is here: http://retrorides.proboards86.com/index ... 1203425950
Cheers

Its not as fast as the Imp mind  I think the Imp may struggle to turn with that in the back though with 650 bhp I think the wheelies would make it fun enough

I won't be there as I'm helping Colin, Graham and Stuart with Colin's engine refit. Well, I'll be standing and pointing a lot trying to look knowledgable when in truth I haven't a clue! Also, I'm secretly hoping Graham brings somemore of his pasta dishes for lunch ;) Well worth standing in the cold and rain whilst pointing a lot. :D

Have a good day there guys, get some photos of Imp related stuff, no non-Imp cars though, they'll just get deleted........... :(

Yeh... I didnt catch a glimpse of you Ben, I did however catch a glimpse of the rear end of an imp driving up the hill leaving the show ground at about midday, it was black, but there were about 300 hundred people between me and it so thats all I could tell. I am guessing it was Mr Tiki as his is now black.

I have to say I did enjoy the very miserable looking woman telling people off for doing burnouts
