Thanks so much to the Dutch Impers for another brilliant weekend.
Sounds like yet another fantastic GD. I look forward to the report for Impressions and welcome emails and photos from participants. Thanks.

Another wonderful Going Dutch has flown by. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Many thanks to the Dutch Impers led by Henk for organizing the weekend, and to all of those attending, The weather was gloriously hot. We had some great runs and great scenery. We arrived home at 01:30 this morning, back working now wishing we were still in Netherlands.

GD2020 - bring it on!

Unusually following a GD, nothing received for Impressions yet. Words and pics needed urgently please if it is to make the July issue. Thanks.

I've always found it odd that we have a magazine editor but have no reporters.
maybe someone that is fluent in facebook could select items from there to submit Impressions ?

Not sure if you can do it Mikey, take things off there and publish them elsewhere in print? probably copyrights etc. it sometimes cancels items saying you do not have permission to show this, dont know?, good thought though.

I'm afraid the Impressions publishing empire is not quite as large scale to extend to the luxury of staff reporters!

In effect, those who contribute to the mag are the reporters. And it goes without saying their submissions are very gratefully received.

Don't FB 'own' all the content, including your photos? :?

I thought that too, Baz. One gives the intellectual rights to FB if that is the case. :?

Facebook Terms of Use

There are millions of Facebook users, but very few are aware of the terms of use, and user agreements. Specifically, when you share, post or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (e.g. photos or videos) on or in connection with FB Products, you grant FB a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free and worldwide licence to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate and create derivative works of your content (consistent with your privacy and application settings). This means, for example, that if you share a photo on Facebook, you give them permission to store, copy and share it with others (again, consistent with your settings) such as service providers that support their service or other Facebook Products that you use.

You can end this licence any time by deleting your content or account. You should know that, for technical reasons, any content that you delete may persist for a limited period of time in backup copies (though it will not be visible to other users). In addition, content you delete may continue to appear if you have shared it with others and they have not deleted it.
