National 2015 Darlington

Post by abth » Thu Jan 08, 2015 12:42 pm

I was making notes on the dates of the HSCC races in 2015 and I noticed that during the National weekend in Darlington, the Croft circuit is on the calender!
Does that mean that the Imps (the usual suspects  ) are able to compete?
Could this be a very good reason to organise a trip to the circuit?
I very much hope so!!

This is a sample of the merchandise we are looking to have available for this years national, we would appreciate any feed back, but more importantly how many people would be interested in purchasing either the mug or the money box so we can approach the manufacturer with more accurate numbers to see if it's worthwhile for him. Mugs are under £3 & the money boxes are £4.20.

many thanks

Kind regards Alan

The wheel logo on the coaster might attract local IMPreza Barry Boys to the venue! :o
(not saying they don't get out much but they may not have seen a loco wheel before and think the extra bits are bling)

That's fine as long as he leaves a couple of mugs and coasters for me

I wouldn't go for any money boxes though as cash doesn't hang around long enough to need somewhere to store it :o

Just read a copy of " The Darlington Advertiser " so a bit more info. on what will be taking place at Croft circuit.
The event is now known as " The Croft Nostalgia Festival " and will take place on August 8 and 9 so the Saturday would make a nice run out for members (about 6 miles south ).
The organisers say it will " Reflect the all-encompassing,family-friendly atmosphere" of the event, it has always encouraged the wearing of retro clothing and much of this will be on sale..
The festival will have classic car and motor cycle races and parades and due to it being the 70th anniversary of VE Day the event will include aerial flypasts by Pitts specials,Yak 52 and Jet Provost.
Military vehicle displays, fashion shows of times gone by and memorabilia fairground rides and second world war tanks will all be on show.
What each day will consist of I don't know.
For details visit croftcircuit.co.uk or 01325-721815
Hope this is of interest.
