We might, I emphasize MIGHT, be able to book the Midland circuit in Lelystad again.
During Going Dutch 2001 we used it also!
It is a small circuit where sprints/slaloms can be held against the clock (one car at the time).
If my memory is correct Simon Benoy's Ginetta was fastest car of the day in 2001.

We are looking at Friday 23rd May or Saturday 24th May.
For those not interested we will have a nice scenic run.

We need a minimum of 15 cars at €75 (60 pounds) for the day.
The circuit is available from 10.00 to 17.00 and there will be plenty time for several runs.
A definite decisions has to be made on 15th February, so can I have your input before that date?

A good point well made Jaap, Orange is a fine National Colour.
On the other hand, cow pattern black and white grills might be rather more fun and a lot more of a "conversation starter" ;-)
Are you up for it Baz?
Anyone else?
Like this??
Effect is not the best due to open grill for better cooling!

Problems problems! On Saturday my head gasket blew again! So I won't be bringing my imp to going dutch...

Just kidding ;) after many bad words I've got the engine out, head of, found the problem and it's currently waiting to be skimmed! Hoping to have the head back on Saturday and get the engine back in on Sunday! Fingers crossed! Plan is to do the 500 miles on my way to holland and torque it when I arrive after it's cooled down,

Dose any one have the correct tools nessecary too torque the head down without removing the cam buckets ect, (can't think of the name of the tool) if some one could please bring the tools along and point me in the right direction on how to torque the head with the engine in the car I would really appreciate it! :D thanks allot all! So excited now! Me and farther are conveying up with he bristol boys, se you all at the ferry port! :)

On the continent you must have your driving license and car papers with you.
You can tape your headlamps, no need for expensive gadgets!

We did that about 34 years ago on our 1st wedding anniversary and as one of the trips is also going that way, we're probably going to make our way up the rhs of IJsselmeer so we see a bit more of the country.

To whet your appetite here are a few memories from Veluwe in 2011...

As ever we've received a very warm welcome from our hosts and here's a shot of the Bath & Bristol crew who arrived en masse.

A big thank you to the organisers and all the people who helped made it such a good event, it was my first Going Dutch and it certainly wont be the last.
