I hope it has the desired effect.
Thing is these days folk also complain about such simple things as cows mooing and cocks crowing when they have moved from the city to the countryside, and those who complain are normally those from the big city it seems seeking a weekend retreat, thus they have multi million pound budgets and are prepared to put up a fight to have the offending items removed even though in many cases its obvious they would encounter the problem they dont like before they moved there and want removed.

Signed.

This is very similar to people moving close to an airport and complaining. While I have the UTMOST sympathy for anyone who has a house and SUBSEQUENTLY has the misfortune to have an airport/racetrack/motorway etc built near their property it is absurd that anyone moving there once the airport/racetrack/motorway etc has ALREADY been built and then feel they have the right to complain. If it wasn't for the fact that such people really do exist it would be laughable.

Urban people who buy a weekend retreat in the countryside do not often realise the harm they are doing to the rural community. Such sales of weekend cottages etc inevitably push property prices up making it difficult for rural folk (whose family may have lived in the village for generations) to afford them. And, perhaps worse still, these part-time country dwellers rarely involve themselves with the community resulting in a take-and-take scenario. Not saying this is always the case but you can understand the animosity some rural people have towards these weekenders.

Hi I've signed the petition and fully support it.
I have one concern, the petition says "there are innumerate examples" it should say "there are innumerable examples" It might seem nit picking, but it could give a reason to reject the petition. If anyone know the petition creator (Darron Coster) ask him if he would/could change it
