Oil cooler pipes

Does anybody know the spe /. Size of the fittings on the oil cooler pipes on a imp ???

Am getting a new mocol cooler and new hoses for a new project

No idea on the pipes but a mocal cooler is no good on an Imp unless its fitted in the front
Mocals rely on ram air , The Imps bog brush cooler is a heat sink type and work much better fitted at the rear

Will work fine , after duckting is constructed around cooler

I think they are 1/2 BSP, and you can get the oil coolers with those fittings.

You might want to consider converting to the Dash fittings on a race car.

Use Aeroquip or similar, -10 ("dash ten") is the size to use. A bit expensive, but once fitted, there is one less thing to worry about. And, of course, the hose ends are fitted using normal hand tools, and are re-useable.
