spaceframed chassis rebuild.

Post by speeddemon »

For all interested in spaceframes. Since the succesfull test at curborough we have arranged for the engine to be pullled down by Andy Jones of Shrigley Engineering for inspection and re-ringing we think, plus one or two mods. Being quite far into the year we are gonna gear everything towards next years northern race series based mainly at Oulton Park.

We have started to strip our Davrian bodied rawlson spaceframe. Removed the body tonight and have started to prep up some panels and the chassis will be stripped and blasted then re-powder coated.

If you are genuinley interested in having a new spaceframe built this is an ideal time for someone to get in touch. We are gearing up to have new chassis built to the same design but introducing new features or to your spec.

When we tested the car it was our first outing but i can honestly say it was like driving a Go Cart which shows what a great design the rawlson is.

i will try and post some pics in the next few days. :)

I havent saw this space frame car he talked about yet

Seems as if alot of people have been slandered by him on the racing tread

For example people like keith scott who has had imps all his life

I'd be interested to see some more pics of the frame if you have them? There's more to it than I first thought.
