Anyone have a source for alloy threaded tube to take 2.25 springs. lots of steel coilover conversion kits about but I can't find aluminium ones

Alloy may be a hassle too far, although it's against my religion to not lighten if I can. Who does steel ones, plated or coated so they don't rust?

Rod is coming along nicely but there is a problem with the steering,if I turn the rack lock to lock it's fine,if I turn individual hubs they are fine...

Panic over, it was not a problem with the rack but simply a siezed fiesta track rod end!!!!!,resorted back to imp steering arm and steering is quiet...
