Yes another issue with Evans is oil temperature control - Oil at 125 C for long periods is a disaster for an Imp. Fortunately the Clan is currently running at normal temps using Evans. This winter I had to turn down the EWP80 flow because it was running too cool at 70C.

Andy if youve got the judders stop the wipers vertical on the screen remove the wiper blades from the arms and check the blade end sits flat on the screen, if it doesnt twist it with some mole grips so it does then refit the blades, if the arm doesnt sit flat on the screen it will/can be the cause ...

Scott If it's jumping out of third on braking , then transaxle moves forwards on rubber mounts and if the linkage is solid, will push the selector rod into the transaxle. Either needs more solid tranny mounts or more flex along the length of linkage to stop the rod from moving back into the tranny? ...

I prefer amber glass on indicators not least because of the number of fails and advisories at MOT time on cars I've had with painted bulbs!

OK amber LEDs an't going to go that way - so that's sorted now.
