Re: BAM! New owner, Hello!

Nice one man! I took my camera and didn't take a photo all day....!! Glad you're getting on well with BAM, the engine in there is so nice, it's a real gem of a standard lump. Proved by the fact it did (presumably) nearly 400 miles that day! Looks AWESOME on the slot mags too! I likey a lotty! You'll...

Cheers Eric.

Everyone talks about nice flat torque curves with forced induction... I was intrigued to see what the effect of the R series cam would be.

Great reading as always Eric.

Any photos of the RR readout with power/torque curves. Would love to see the shape of the torque curve with combination of turbo and R20 cam!

Hey guys, yup, the rumours are true! I have faf back! I had some real mixed emotions on the drive home though, because BAM definitely drives better! The clutch has absolutely no feel-but i think this is partly down to the lack of return spring on the pedal, the driving position is horrible at the mo...

They are some excellent results. The rotrex supercharger and your ECU both look like excellent pieces of kit and the numbers speak for themselves!

To be honest, I haven't actually sat down and worked it out yet, because I don't really need to. Basically split it into two rectangles, work out "I" for each using parallel axis where necessa...

I tried one of those last kits before, couldn't get the rotor arm to stay on.. it kept popping off the top of the distributor shaft.

As for the other bits... I would have loved to... if I had the pennies to spend! I'm MASSIVELY skint at the moment, so it limits my options a bit unfortunately!
