Re: What did you do to your Imp today?

Wet & dried (220 + 400 + 800 + 1200) engine lid to correct some imperfections after spraying it.
My own fault to start with. Mixed colour & thinner to wrong proportions for the last(?) spray.

Re: Nods news , Temporary bumper-less look .

Less bumper looks OK but it looses a bit of "character" or "attitude" if you see what I mean.
I'd go half way - bumper, but without overriders.

Rally car (the Imp) appears to have a wide front track. Viva disc brakes? Camera angle?
Nice looking car. The blue looks pretty much like the Chrysler pentastar colour.

Re: Nods news, Stromberg 6K and SU number 7 comparison

Darkspeed wrote:On testing I have found that SU's flow more air fully open than a Stromberg - therefore for the same AFR more fuel would be required by the SU at the top end.
So for a tuned engine SU's would be better? My thinking is that for the same AFR an SU would allow more air and fuel in, hence more energy.

May be the aggregated effect of your camera and my screen but that looks brighter and whiter than anything I've seen on an Imp before. LED?
