I see it's on left full lock. Is it knocking regardless of steering wheel position? Can't see the RH u-bolt, is that as solid ass LH appears to be? Checked the plastic (nylon?) damper inside the rack, spring and adjusting screw?

The Perkins 4108 diesel rebuild gave me lots to think about, how and why does such an engine work I was wanting to know? ... Reminds me about the oil cooler hoses on the Cali. They've been stored for 40 years so should be changed asap. Stored with oil in them so perhaps fine inside but despite there aren't any visible external signs of drying or splitting it would be stupid to trust them now.

Glad I decided to fit rear speakers too. This is what I found after removing the side trim. :shock: Was expecting "dead sheep" but not foam.
