when I did the headlamp mod a few years back i just used a large hole saw and you end up with neat edges and easy access and a lot easier to cut.neat trick with the wiring though

The DVLA accurate, how can those words be in the same sentence? running battle with them over SORN, even had the email confirmation from them yet the system still showed unlicensed and yes a fine followed. remember you have to declare SORN every 12 months regardless of whether they send you a remind...

Clan004 1040 twin 40s, cr box, no cage, full trim etc. Useless for anything other than road fun and trackdays. It would be easier to start from scratch with another Clan...but no room in the garage for three toys so I'd have to sell the Lotus...but that's a something I can't bring myself to do ATM....

thats actually Clan No2 in the order in which I obtained them, investigations this weekend leads me to think it should be quite simple to do with all the skills with in the Clan Club, just needs a plan and stiffening braces before cutting. :D

made it to the gathering and back, now need to start thinking paintwork after seeing all the other shiny Clans, and still not driven mine on tarmac I let the good lady have the job of driving it off and back on the trailer.

raining now back down south so new tan will be going rusty!

I wish, need a little more time on the Blue one, the Red one drove around the paddock at the weekend under its own power for the first time, however everything seems to work so if I can get mot sorted it won't need to be a static display :D

Driving up from deepest darset on the Friday with DRL on a trailer, car probably won't be MOT but will there for the display at the factory etc, and no hotel for me, under canvas, and attending the dinner, only going as I set it as the target to get the Clan up and running

Well car now moves under its own power, had to change cylinder head this weekend as discovered the one fitted had a crack, still all done now. not running the standard Imp water pump and the bracket would end up like the forth bridge, it may like all things develop that way but for now the priority is to get the car running

removing the vinyl try a wallpaper stripper the steam softens the vinyl and also leaves very little trace of the glue, thats how we do the company vans before sending them back at the end of the lease, tried the hot air gun approach and it takes twice the amount of time.
