Re: Car Trailers

as a brief aside , similar rules came in for tow bars some years ago to the effect that any towbar fitted to and vehicle after that date was requred to have a type approval plate fitted to it , Old bars on old cars were not effected .
this sounds the same but to the trailers themselves .

Re: Car Trailers

normaly this type of legeslation is not retrospective of the date it is approved and would only apply to new builds of course Brian j-ames would say what they have , they are out so sell more trailers. i hope someone has the time to clarify this issue as I have a car trailer for sale at the moment (...

Re: WICKED WELSH 2012 DATES CONFIRMED

Hello boys and girls!!! I definitely want to go next year. This year was great. I kept a low profile so as not to upset any Clown-phobic types. For that reason I didn't stay at the Rising Sun, I snuck into a local B&B instead. They were fully booked so I had to wait until lights out then crept into...

looking at the number of viewings i would guess that many people would like a definetive list of what parts the club are collecting for rework and would like that list intime to sort stuff out to take to national .

Re: Strange Holes

For those getting ideas about tow bars fitted this way...DONT. Any tow bar must be fitted so that the force is taken by the chassis rails, the rear crossmember will bend if you pull from the centre resulting in the engine responding to the force of gravity  All of the tow bars I've fitted to...

you might want to check your dates as I think you have them wrong.
There is no end of May bank holiday this year as it has been moved to June 4th
I think you mean Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of May .

Re: Cranleigh Lions Car Show

i,ve spent this afternoon removing the gearbox from the Chammy , found the cause of the major loss of oil to be the breather tube missing from the end cap , thereby letting oil escape when the air expands in the box. swiped a tube from another box and fitted it .just got a few cables to connect and ...
