Laurent, was that you who pitched up next to us in the dark and Alex and I helped to get the tent up? Was a great weekend and hats off to graham and Simon who got things sorted. We could have been close to no national if they didn't step up. I was gutted not to have the van there and missed looking ...

Just a quick message. We have received some generous donations so far but still on the hunt for any donations for this year's raffle. Doesn't need to be imp or car related, perhaps something for the women or kids? Pm me for details of how to get it to us or arrange delivery to the event. Thanks in a...

Grr fitted a battery and tried to fire the engine up. Click . Click. And press the solenoid and the starter just whirs. Sounds like the starter that came with the engine is knackered. Also the water pump has a leak. The high beam warning works the wrong way round and the registration plate lights do...

Some places banned imps as they were too fast round the track, so they claimed they were dangerous because of the rear engine. Several imps have been in banger races though.

We were in the area today and popped in to look at the site. The access road is like a normal road, flat, wide and tarmac'd. And even better than normal roads, there are no pot holes. You could drive an articulated lorry on site and not scratch it. Can't see any issues of grounding your trailer or t...

I went there as did fellow ACO Alex Trueman but my van is still being rebuilt and he chickened out in taking an Imp. As Colin said, I only saw a G15. Pretty poor turnout unfortunately but still some very nice classic/vintage cars arrived. Even the open top 1930's cars braved it.
