Tomorrows job will be done with a session in the blasting cabinet, then some black DTM spray painting, I am not sure I will actually fit the two items though? Pictures in the morning :D Imp027 Cleaning and painting them will be easy but do I really need to install them, what if anything will I gain...

Congratulations Simon cracking result. well done to the other imp drivers as well to win it you need to be in it as they say and a massive effort goes into racing a car of any type.

Well I bit the bullet today and fitted it and what a difference it makes too :D . I used to get strange things like the heater fan speed vary in sync with the indicators whilst sat stationary as the alternator struggled to cope at low revs - this evening i tried leaving it ticking over - main beam ...

i have moved to Audens insurance covers the car at all times saves the £20 odd per event for MSA insurance for road sections have an agreed value and trailer cover approx £280 fully comp, this still does not cover me for loss of car due to accident on the stages.

all looking tidy Dave, for the roll cage whre your feet catch getting in and out try some helecopter tape or leading edge tape. t cut the scuffs out of the cage legs wipe down with brake cleaner fit tape will all add to keeping your smart interior tidy. http://www.parts4aircraft.com/3m-prop-tape-1-i...

there is an o-ring inside the end housing that the selector shaft passes through. if it is only a drip the rubber dust cover that fits over the outside could be filled with high absorbency cloth they are usually a rattling good fit so will take a cloth. i have some good oil soak matting here if you ...
