Re: Yet another imp turbo project .... Maybe pic heavy

So i may have to sell them :( I have also finally got around to rebui...

I have a head that is complete (but has pittings etc and is only a standard mk2 171 head) will take exhaust valves from that, need to find 4 other inlet valves (1.28 for sport) Buy some new guides fro...

Head is currently at a impfriends house ready to get shimmed next week (tuesday or wednesday) then as soon as i get the head back i will re...

Re: Yet another imp turbo project .... Maybe pic heavy

3 options in that case: - run them underneath the car. It works, it reduces temperatures a bit, but the pipes are vulnerable to damage. Probably OK on a road car if not excessively low. - run them inside the car and box them in. Could look like a wider tunnel in the floor. - most difficult, run the...

1973 hillman imp - need to get on with it.

Well finally got around to making up a project thread. My aim is to turbocharge, and use kjet on my imp (read parents imp stored in the garage). The turbocharger is a garret t2 item, and the kjet metering system is from a 1.8 gti golf. Will be making the exhaust manifold myself (started the flange a...
