You've had it a helluva lot longer than Rootes did mate. Their job was only to sell the cars, not to make them run right!
If they were spot-on there would be jack shyte for us to do, everyone would want one and they'd cost a fortune.

Spent the morning putting all the new clips in and cleaning up the stainless trim. Satisying job, but a bit annoying when you haven't bought spare clips and a few break! Still loads to do: Everything rubber is getting replaced, so all the glass to clean and put back, headlining, engine lid and new b...

Re: Noddys Natterings ,Yet more Fun at Noddy Towers.

How about a company called Bresco,? they make trim clips for thousands of cars and theres some clips on there that are used to clip the roof trim onto the Triumph Dolomite/2000 range which is a very similar section. If you send them a sample they can see if they can match it up, and they will send ...

You will need a scalpel type blade to open up hinge hole. They fit very well. They are still available, but direct from Frank Schoenberger.

Did you use Kurust on your other car Chris? Reason I ask is that I used to use it a lot several years ago without problems, but never over a whole car.
