....was on eBay about 12 years ago, probably the summer of 2005 It was red, a basic or a deluxe I think, based on the front panel trim, had wide arches, Weller wheels (wide ones with the holes, not the spokes, I believe they were white, possibly grey) and I think it had a black roof. Re: Doms 2nd resto BMW K1000 Dyno run.

Its actually something you could only say works if tested to destruction but lets hope it never comes to that ! That's not really true, it can be reviewed with hand calcs to assess the stiffness and strength (primarily in bending), or alternatively with anyone of the vast array of CAE/FEA tools. A ...

Nice to see you again at the weekend Eric, the car looked great as ever. As mentioned previously the 64ft times are rather awesome- certainly puts it into context comparing them to the single seaters. We were playing a game of leap frog on the dual carriageway on the way back too! We have a good fir...

Pete- Mallory Park is closest to me, so it may well be where I end up going. I believe the operators are "The Motorsports School", with prices being inline with most other tracks (around £300).

ARDS Test

Hi all, Has anyone completed and ARDS test recently and/or have any recommendations on where to go? They are all fairly similarly priced (with the exception of Silverstone which seems to be dearer) and I imagine the content of the test is similar everywhere, but perhaps you have some recommendations...

Another thing to remember is that you can get one signature for a days marshalling at a race meeting. A useful standby that's not dependant on the car/driver finishing a race. And, I imagine it would help to give you an appreciation for the voluntary work/effort that goes in so that racing can go a...

Hi Pete, Thanks for the swift reply. Simon- having seen the video from the mini (which was behind you, obviously  ), you did very well to escape serious injury and keep two(ish) corners on the car... back into the middle of the track sideways after the first corner of the first lap looked pretty hairy!

Normal is as per Ford, as you can see in pics no silver stripes, the Monte is as per the monte works cars (or similiar before an anorak jumps on my back) with silver stripes across. Looks like it has the silver strips in the pic for the "standard" one though: http://www.heatedwindscreen.com/acatalo...
