I believe I read that nobody has any of the original windscreen plastic washer jets.
Not sure if there is a demand for them as there are alternatives and I'm not so sure that amount of original detail is noticed.

Today I have taken the last of the single rooms.
It seems that the venue now only has one of its bigger rooms left.
I'm very pleased with the way it has been organised.
If the hotel did have any concerns over holding their business in limbo for the club then I doubt they will have any regrets now.

I must admit to being as sceptical as Dom about not being on a camp site. But last years was brilliant. Its still the same atmosphere just in a different setting. Those that were there will know what I mean. I really don't know how I kept myself from bursting into laughter when they tested the fire ...

This year's national I will be attempting to the Dartford crossing quite early on the Friday morning. I know about the charges and saw that before 6am there's none. This got me thinking that if I ended up close to this time then traffic may hold me up. So here is a question for those few poor people...

Fitted replacement rotoflex as I noticed the one on was delaminating. Got to torquing the nuts up and had to take it all off again when one nut wouldn't stop turning :cry:

Looks like this might just about fit. Not to expensive so even if it doesn't no big loss. Yet I gave away my only spare throttle pedal recently after it was in storage for nearly 20 years. :shock:

I was actually looking for an equivalent needle bearing. I figured fitting them packed with grease would last longer than I would be breathing. Don't suppose putting it on here would do any harm though :/

One other thing worth mentioning - theres two types of valve - a single flap early one which was replaced by Mazda as it caused issues and the later three flap one thats OK . Id use the later - differences in the following pics I saw on a YouTube video that the early type valve suffered from fillin...

I always thought motors at the wheel or on the drive shaft direct was the way to go considering how much energy was lost in any gearbox. As I worked for BP who own Castrol Dave, you might want to order in a few sacks of salt for yourself......

Halfords Classic is made by Castrol and is I have been told what was Castol GTX. Always used it and never had any problems with it.
