Get an old spark plug and knock or drill the middle out of it. Put a bolt through it,or weld on an old bolt on the end of it to make the bit that goes into the combustion chamber longer. Get the no1 piston on the upstroke after bdc. Put the plug in and bring it up slowly til it stops. Mark the pulle...

Jonboi,a guy I know is building a Lotus 7 type thing,he's got about 50m of 1" tubing in it he reckons.

Lee,I find the easiest way with a photobucket account.
Upload pics to photobucket
Click on the selected photo.
A wee board thing with 4 things in it will drop down.
Click the bottom one,it will go a colour.
Right click,that saves it.
Come back here,click then right click,that inserts the picture.

Yep,afaik,it's 4mm Mike.Sorry,dont know about the weights but I wouldnt think 500kg would be wildly out??
