Nice photos. Seeing the SWB Quattros brings back my main memories.

Mike Parkes led the development of the Stratos, he was killed in one.

Thanks, I am honoured. Now I just need that car to be road legal and hold the key. You have to start somewhere.

Really though your enthusiasm and perseverance needs a prize.

Re: A Californian drying out in South Africa

Mine was registered early 1967, I'll check the number when I can find the log book. It was one lady owner and she must have been quick off the mark with the new model. Yours was registered 21 June 67 so only 6 weeks off an F reg, and over 6 months into production so I doubt it has a very early chas...

Treasure hunt, with the obligatory cauldron of goulash (gulyás) at the end.

(not my photos, the Imp is always warmly appreciated, and Hungarians appreciate rear engined cars)

When I sold and made teak decking for yachts I sold 1000s of tubes of Dow Corning 797, now 813, its a similar type of cure system I think. It is also weather and UV proof, t...

I'd be more inclined to wire in a cigarette socket with USB and/or a little laptop inverter. Then buy a great quality bluetooth speaker. You can always charge it. Then use it wherever you want also. In the garage, "at the beach" etc. And have a little inverter available for other things. (this is on...

Everything is relative... "Would you like this low mileage, immaculate Chamois? Make an offer, I just want to get rid..."
