Re: door cards

I am looking for someone who can lend us a good early door card to have copied. Ref. Peter's previous note.

The ones we have in stock are correct for the post 1968 doors with the anti-burst locks.

Thanks!

Re: Items to re-manufacture

Latest item re-manufactured.
This is far superior quality than other items currently available. Nitrile rubber which should withstand EP80 oil.

In case you can't guess, its the rack end boots.

Oh and BTW I currently have 2x off RG355 in stock to answer an earlier message.

Re: Imp club floor panels

Simon and Chris have more floor panels now. Unfortunately we just missed National.

They are currently available in Stevenage for the usual price of £75 each including VAT. We will aim to move some around the country by Imp Express.

Re: Items to re-manufacture

Thanks Roy, yes I have a list of tools, samples and drawings. We did have some (but not RG355) done before by a local apprentice. I'm making enquiries again.

We could maybe sell a set to each ACO for them to managefor their area?

Thanks, @Mike - certainly appreciate your help!
Yes please ask about Laycock clutch covers and see what we can do. That would be fantastic!

@imp.sport
yes I had forgotten washer jets - I fitted LR Discovery ones on mine, look quite nice but not original!

Re: Items to re-manufacture

Thanks Phil, that's a genuinely well thought out set of suggestions! Yes most of those items are on my lists already. Re-conditioning or second hand is going to be the way to go for a while, until good donor parts are n/a and depending on costs and demand. Speedy Spares do stock the water pumps whic...

Re: door cards

I have now received quotes for:

door cars
rr trim side panels
rr door pocket bases

All will be in fire-resistant black material, not plywood!, similar to those that we previously supplied. There is just a slight price increase, like with everything else in UK currently!

Thanks Peter, 100% correct. The ones I have will fit the late Imps and can be trimmed for the earlier ones. They are 3mm Foamex which is waterproof and also fire retardent. This week I took all samples for front doors and rear trim and door pockets to a new company, so am hoping that we will have th...

The yellow Rawlson Stiletton with red wheels above was mine for a while. Believe raced by Nick Creswell, e.g. at Loton Park, but don't know any more. Ian Toon said he'd seen it racing and it was quite quick. As I didn't use it, I sold it. Soon after some idiot broke it and sold all the parts on e-Ba...
