yeh that stuff works well, I used POR15 on mine after rust treatment and then Chassis black. that POR15 is V good stuff costs a bit but a small pot did 2 coats on the underside easily 8)

slight hole on inner wheel arch and a couple on the floor close to the cill but I am going to chop those out and make a small patch to be welded in. 8)

Cheers for the heads up Jeff 8) Stu the welds seem to be nice and flat on the interior so that has saved a bit of grinder time :lol: Will prob need some welding services from you soon if thats OK Food and beer tokens waiting I will also get the gas Canisters in.

cheers Scott will look at the website instructions for it tomorrow. Edit... from todays research the general concensus seems to be that you can over paint/ spray the POR15 with underseal but best to use POR 15 chassis black paint before the undercoat , plus you should rough up the POR15 rust coat pa...

YAY broken bolts all out and holes re tapped, I bought a set of DeWalt extreme 2 HSS bits to replace the other HSS bits that seemed to be made of fromage. :lol: The Dewalt bits were amazing they just scythed their way through the high tensile bolts where as the others just got hot then snapped. cheers Scott, I already used a rust converter on the bare metal called Rust buster it quite amazing and gives a good black waterproof finish you can see the results earlier on in this thread when I used it on some rusty stub axels .

Righty ho, work continues on the underside of the car Stu came over and welded up the small holes in the Cill and floor 8) I now only have one smallish area to cut out and let in some new metal. which leads me to ask where do you guys buy your sheet steel from? and what gauge should I be looking at ...

It was Really good I went both days and Sunday was by far the better day some amazing cars shown and the club had 12 imps displayed.
