Yes. Mike is the guy to speak to. :) He has worked with one of the damper manufacturers and they have produced what I can only describe as dampers of the highest quality! I saw some at this year's national meet near Preston. They are of lightweight alloy construction and the adjustment on them reall...

I kept missing Steve's car! Either it passed me by before I could get a picture or it was obscured by other cars on track. Anyway, it looks like Phil Smith got some really good pictures of Steve's Chamois. I shall email mine to you later this evening. :) Alas, I was too focused on the photography to...

That being the case, you might do well to join the Imp Club.
The Club magazine, Impressions, plus getting along to local Area Centre meetings, should help you to find a suitable car to fit in with your plans.

They were doing well against some tough opposition!
Any idea what went wrong with the transmission? It sounds like oil loss leading to a mechanical failure of some kind.

Colin, I'd love to tell you that gel batteries are getting better... are the be all and end all... but I've only ever owned two: the one that was in my Chamois when I got it back from Barry Palmer and the one that I managed to ruin after the first one stopped holding charge! There must be a better bolt to use, thinking maybe an allen key head instead of a flat drive. A stainless steel countersunk Allen screw would seem sensible to me. ^^ Cool! :D To remove the rear seat, first unscrew the seat cushion from the plate that it mounts to. You will then see two countersunk screws either side that secure the hinged seat plate bracket to the rear wheel tubs. You will probably need to soak them for a while using WD40, PlusGas or similar ...
