Good day in the garage yesterday :D Carbs, gearbox, starter motor all now refixed to the engine and engine bolted in place :o Just need to connect all the other bits and bobs and then hopefully no more smoking :wink: Seems that Ben Boult used crappy piston rings including one piece oil control ring...

Nothing too serious I hope Martin :wink: I don't bother about the salt, just a good jet wash occasionally. Not updated for a long time. the Imp has a new MOT and is still on the road :roll: Progress has been limited due to a Stomach operation and now a gammy knee, because of the knee I had to go to Huntingdon in the modern cos that's automatic. :cry: Did have a problem with the Imp jumping out of 3rd on ...
