Sad...... It was a link to the past. Got to spend two years doing something with my dad. Two small kids watch me build it, and in some cases helped me !! The money has nothing to do with it. It was a great project which didn't deserve to be sat in my cold garage. At least Tom has heating in his. He ...

I cant believe Grahams car only made £9200, an absolute give away in my opinion.

The market for IMP racers needs to improve, I was hoping to get some sort of return on my small investment.

Re: Circuit racing in the UK - 1971 (period G) anyone?

Hi Matt, There is a Group 2 touring 70's series which runs as masters historic series. The only problem is that it is full of BMW's, Capri's and larger class cars. http://www.themastersseries.com/race-series/touring-70s.html However it may be worth an entry as it is part of a good race meeting. Clutch Bearing

Can anyone advise on the best type of clutch bearing which will fit onto the standard clutch fork.

I am looking for a roller type which will replace the standard fixed bearing to be used in conjunction with a competition clutch.

Any help would be appretiated.

thanks

Hi Meltdown,

The car would not be legal in the current HSCC series due to the arches being fitted, I may build another without the arches in the near future.

We are looking to demonstrate and show the car in early 2011, we should have a few practice sessions in this year to set the car up.
