Yes it is but then it was complete and spares for the Minx style motors are not as good as for the IMP.
Need new quarterlight rubbers for instance. 175$au from Bodgy in Australia.

My Minx Husky

I noted way back in my "NPB 646L" topic about the 1960 Series 2 Husky I purchased. During 2014 I did a lot of work on this vehicle sorting out non-functioning electrics!! Household wire with the solid ends bent over and left exposed!!!!!!!!! :o I changed system from positive to negative earth, dynam...

Re: NPB 646L - Update

Over a year with the car sitting idle, but now it has been recommissioned and has a fresh MOT. Certain areas of the body need attention and with my old age and other commitments not sure this is going to happen :( Giving thought to putting it up for sale. http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g470/tom...

The K&N filter I have does not have an inlet for the feed from the catch tank.
Thinking about drilling a hole for a 9mm dia feed and then using superglue to fix it in.

Anyone used some other system please?

All in place and tight now.
Had purchased a deep socket which made things a lot easier.
Finished up using a combination of the dowty and copper washers. Copper for the smaller size and the supplied dowty against the shoulder.
We move on to getting the exhaust on now, then the Weber fitted. :)

Tom, the length of the shoulder on the spigot would seem to me to suggest that there is meant to be another washer between the spigot and the dowty seal (washer with rubber insert). I may be wrong.
