Re: The stanced '67 Imp Super - SOLID DRIVESHAFTS

Nice looking job there James, It'll be interesting to see how it stands up over time. Just check you have the yokes aligned, it looks like they are not in the picture, this will be pulsing the diff and could lead to faster wear than expected, at which point you'll suspect the lack of donuts. Is the...

Re: The stanced '67 Imp Super - SOLID DRIVESHAFTS

Hi everyone The Imp has had a few additions lately. First of which was a pair of fiesta brake discs and calipers on the front, this meant fitting a pair of 13x7 Revolutions to give a bit more arch clearance. This also allowed me to reduce the camber a little, I still want to further reduce it though...

Hi everyone A quick thankyou to the organisers for another brilliant national! Re: WBH 985E '67 Imp Super

Hi everyone The Imp's insurance ran out a few weeks ago so I have been commuting to my apprenticeship with a historic race team in the Vw Lupo. Hi everyone, at the end of last year the Imp was won on eBay by Nick Farmer who is well known in the classic trials scene so I'm glad its gone to someone who will use it still. Sad to see its gone but it was a brilliant little car that got me started on Imps, took (almost) every bit of abuse a 17 ye...

Re: WBH 985E '67 Imp Super

Hi everyone The Imp is going well, although the engine does smoke quite a bit. It should make a g...

Re: WBH 985E '67 Imp Super - on the road!

Hi everyone I have driven the Imp a couple of times and it's not bad, I think the brakes need slight adjustment and maybe a quick bleed as it's got quite a long travel and it's very slightly spongey.
