Re: Rear window frames

Hi Jeff

Not surprised in the current crisis that things are stalled - you mention heated glass - is that now an option instead of using our own glass? We'd certainly be interested in heated glass..

cheers

Jim

The cancellation is understandable - did you try to rearrange for later in the year (Oct?), or deferring fully to next year and them transferring the bookings, to minimise individual loss?

Glad you like it Bob, mine is great - currently under my MGTF. They're great for getting the car safely onto 4 axles stands too. As I said in the PM, I used the wide setting bars and cut 4 inch off them, now the lift fits both Imp and MG. Only real downside that I have found is that you can't use i...

Hi Colin, Well done and a good idea to have a dry run. Don't be afraid to carefully pull it taut when you glue it as there is a bit of stretch in the vinyl but don't trim it until you're completely happy as you won't be able to reposition it if you get it wrong or if you cut it too much. Is this full frame or bottom half - last discussion I saw suggested it was bottom half only? We'd certainly be interested at a full frame.

This was the 20th anniversary event and it was fitting that after a couple of years away, the Gurner's attended - Neil and Tina started all of this 20 years ago. They had a great time on the runs, popping up at various locations taking lots of photos, so hopefully some will end up here and in Impres...

We had a great weekend.. Many thanks to everyone for making it such a success. Hilda ran great all weekend, even with 4 up on Sunday. It was an uneventful drive home, but the BMW averaged 42mpg with Hilda on the trailer - must have been all down hill! Hope everyone else got home OK.

It was brand new when we restored her 2012-13 and is still clean and shiny. Of course - it may never have been adjusted properly in the first place (it's never been great).

Saturday I changed the coolant as I had to replace the temp sender. New one is working - so that is good. Some of these modern cars that turn the DRLs off when cornering or indicating just come across as plain confusing IMO. Following a brake test at a local garage - result = no rear near side brake effect - replaced leaking cylinder and brake shoes that were dripping with brake fluid (they were new last year, so less than 1000 miles !).
