Re: British Historic Rally Championship - 2013 Update

After an excellent season, the British Historic Rally Championship has come to an end with Geoff Taylor winning the class and Henry and I coming second. We had a trouble free rally season and end it with the rally car at the top of its game and significantly better than when we started with it three...

Re: Castle Combe Rally Car Show

Slight change of plan - no Sprinter but we will have the dark blue Discovery (with only small Friesian Racing cows on it)! Several members have expressed an interest in coming - look forward to seeing you there. Coffee and tea making facilities have been transferred to the Discovery.

Castle Combe Rally Car Show

Next Saturday, 21st September, is the annual Castle Combe Rally Car Show. Sadly the club decided not to formally support it with a stand but I know a number of members will be there. It is sad also that the Mike Dent (Moose) rebuilt rally car that many members have been following with interest on th...

Re: British Historic Rally Championship - Jim Clark Rally

The Jim Clark Rally is an amazing event – 115 miles on public roads of which 3 miles were through a town. Sadly the event operation had some problems. Firstly the seeding was a disaster. With plenty of history out there that identifies our rallying results and with the smallest engine car in the his...

Re a Clan on the Mid Wales Stages - yes but a bit marginal. We ran one stage a second time after most of the field (140 cars had been through) which would have been more difficult for a Clan.
