Re: A Californian drying out in South Africa

So my next upgrade on the Californian will be to fit the correct heater control valve. You'd be better off fitting the valve from a London Taxi TX1, as discussed in a previous Forum thread. Gives vastly better control, won't seize up like the original, and is an easy swap. They are readily availabl...

The wheel tracks are now, Front 4'-2 1/2" and Rear 4'- 1 9/16" or Front 1280.3mm and rear 1211.70 mm, so they are still not equal, how many cars have equal tracks I wonder? In my case and due to fitting wider rims at 5 1/2" J width the tracks will be some 2" wider than the dimensions above. Roy, Al...

I'm with Peter (The Nun) on this. Having had (Micra) discs on my Imp for 20 years I would never go back to drums. • Easy visual checking of pad wear • No fade (though this shouldn't happen on a road car, even with drums, unless you live in a mountainous area. Nevertheless, cooling is far better with...

Idea?? Make up a key board to fix on the wall with hooks so you can hang up all your keys in a convenient place in the house… NEVER leave your keys in an insecure and highly visible place in the house such as a simple key board.
