Re: EHK 744G - 1969 Super

That is exactly why I've always thought that the RG355 head bolt tool would be the perfect 'hire' tool for the club. By its very nature it is not something most people need very often or unexpectedly. I know that there would have to be a hefty returnable deposit on it to ensure its prompt return but...

OK for the National but what is the situation for events such as Ecosse, Irish Experience, Going Dutch, Full English Weekend, and the Wicked Welsh Weekend? Most, but not all, do collect a small fee from attendees to cover costs but there is very little, if any, paperwork involved.

Don't despair folks! You're are not the only ones to need a daily 'Forum fix''. I just enjoy reading most of what is posted - can't often help unless it's something I'm familiar with but, although I've owned one Imp for 50 years, that's the only one I'm familiar with. The 2020 event will again be held at the Llangorse Lakeside campsite (www.llangorselake.co.uk) in the Brecon Beacons from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2020. We have reserved the 10 static caravans (4 berth & 6 berth) for our exclusive use but, because of the lower number of people camping in...

Re: What did you do to your Imp today?

I've always rated the Haynes manuals very highly. For the inexperienced DIY mechanic they are, in my opinion, a much better bet than the official workshop manual although, I suspect, many of us have acquired both over the years. Yes - there is the odd problem but the official workshop manual isn't a...

Apologies to Dave/Noddy for continuing the MOT/No MOT discussion here. I think that part of the justification for saying that cars older than 40 years don't need an MOT any longer was that many MOT testers & garages are just not capable of carrying out a proper MOT on older cars because the testers ...

The reason the initial current draw reading drops (0.066 mA to 0.001 mA) is almost certainly because you are charging a small capacitor somewhere in the radio circuit - nothing to worry about. The actual continuous current draw figure is probably somewhere below 0.001 mA but the digital meter won't ...
